The album that catapulted Dire Straits into the bigger mainstream – thanks in part to some heavy play on MTV, and the group's inventive use of the video format! Titles include "Brothers In Arms", "Walk Of Life", "The Man's Too Strong", "One World", "So Far Away", "Your Latest Trick", "Why Worry", "Ride Across The River", and "Money For Nothing".  © 1996-2025, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Original pressing with Masterdisk stamp. Includes the printed inner sleeve. Cover has light wear.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Little Feat

Down On The Farm
Warner, 1979. Near Mint-
The last album of the 70s by Little Feat – and it's a strange one! On one hand, Little Feat is revisiting some of their country rock and New Orleans-inspired songs of years past – as well as the self-conciously oddball humor. But they're also working in a tighter, leaner and cleaner ... LP, Vinyl record album

The second album from Little Feat – and it's a great one! Loose roadhouse blues-y and country rock styled songs – infused with their own weirdness! Mobile Fidelity/Warner, 1978. Near Mint- 2LP Gatefold
The classic late 70s double live album from Little Feat! Their reputation as one of the great live acts of that decade or any other is realized beautifully here – the band playing off of each other masterfully, and they're just as sharp vocally – but what's most impressive is how they ... Workingman's Dead
Warner, 1970. Very Good
One of the first giant hits by the Grateful Dead – and a record that has the group tightening things up a bit more, and stepping into some of the country-tinged territory of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers!
