Two of David Newman's best moments from the 70s – mostly because he was working with Roy Ayers, and picking up a hipper style than usual, which turned his sometimes sleepy horn into an instrument that was more ready to match the talents of emerging hip jazz funk artists on labels like Kudu and CTI. Roy's vibes can be heard on most of the tracks – and the records also have some nice keyboard work from either Pat Rebillot or Charles "Bags" Costello. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
