Murder Was The Case

CD (Item 573910) Death Row, 1994 — Condition: Used
Out Of Stock

CD

✈
The fake soundtrack which is actually more of a various artists than a Snoop Dogg record, when Dre & Death Row were at the top of the world. Not the finest example of G-funk, but there's still a few nuggets of that classic "Rollin' in my 6-4" sound: like "Natural Born Killaz" by Dre & Cube, "Murder Was The case (rmx)" by Snoop and "Come When I Call" by Danny Boy. Also features cuts by Nate Dogg, DJ Quik, Sam Sneed & others. . .  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs. This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Stankonia
LaFace, 2000. Used
Probably the most hyped hip hop album by rock critics of the last decade – but don't hold that against Stankonia, because these ghetto grooves from planet P-Funk were exactly what world needed in 2000! The millenium blowout party jam feel throughout is surely a nice change of pace from all ... CD

Hokey Fright
Rhymesayers, 2013. Used
A pretty cool, seemingly unlikely duo effort on Rhymesayers – pairing up underground hip hop mainstay Aesop Rock and avant indie vocalist Kimya Dawson of Moldy Peaches! It actually works well! Aesop's no nonsense sounding voice can deliver even the most abstract lyrics with strength and ... CD

Fugees

Score
Columbia, 1996. Used
The record that really broke The Fugees out of the box – not their debut, but the album where everything really came together – especially the fantastic mix of vocals and MC work that Lauryn Hill brought to the group! The album was a key bridge between hip hop and soul back in the day ... CD
MCA, 2002. Used

Mo Wax, 2000. Used
The Mo Wax version of Divine Styler's third LP, with a super fancy fold out sci-fi cover design! Amon Duul II

Yeti
Mantra (Germany), 1970. Used
About as classic as you can get for Amon Duul – a double-length set that virtually defined the sound of prog rock for the 70s! Tracks are long, and mighty jamming – with a strong undercurrent of jazz alongside the heavy drums and guitars – set loose at a level that's much madder ... CD
