Vinyl may be dirty, and can lack a fair amount of luster.
Vinyl can have a number of marks, either in clusters or smaller amounts, but deeper.
This is the kind of record that you'd buy to play,
but not because it looked that great. Still, the flaws should be mostly cosmetic,
with nothing too deep that would ruin the overall record.
Examples include a record that has been kept for a while in a
cover without the paper sleeve, or heavily played by a previous owner
and has some marks across the surface. The record should play okay,
though probably with surface noise.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
An incredible track by The Impressions! Although it's hard to believe it now, "We're A Winner" was actually banned from radio in Chicago when it came out – because the track's politics were too strong, and the message of pride was deemed inappropriate for the mainstream stations! ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Two great tracks from the album Finally Got Myself Together – a great later Impressions album that has a classic Curtom sound! The cut "Finally" has a sound that's a lot like the work that Curtis did with the Staples on "Let's Do It Again" – and "I'll Always Be ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Probably the biggest record ever by this sweeeet Chicago soul group! "I Do" was later ruined by a bad cover by J Geils – but this early version is a killer, with soaring harmonies that really make the track groove! "My Heart" is great too – a mellow number, with ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
Funky funky Bobby! "Gotta Have Money" is a fast bluesy number – done in a fast vamp mode, one that really works well with Bobby's vocals, and gives the tune an almost sock-boogaloo style. "Camel Walk" is the real groover though – with bass picking around a nice ... 7-inch, Vinyl record
