Entrance

LP (Item 566906) Epic, 1970 — Condition: Very Good+
Titles include "Entrance", "Tobacco Road", "Jimmy's Gospel", "A Different Game", "Peace Pipe", and "Back In The Blues".  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Yellow label pressing. Cover has a name in pen, small split on the bottom seam, light surface wear.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Hurdy Gurdy Man
Epic, 1968. Very Good+
Easily one of the headiest Donovan albums of the 60s – a record that moves past the simple psychedelic pop of earlier hits, and into a range of mind-expanding themes and styles! There's a cerebral quality here that seems to take hold even on the simpler, catchier tunes – a deeply ... LP, Vinyl record album

Emitt Rhodes
Dunhill, 1970. Very Good+ Gatefold
A really great self-titled set from Emitt Rhodes – a compelling California singer who hardly ever gets his due! The music's a wonderful mix of California late 60s singer/songwriter modes and bits of Beatles-esque production – a blend that makes for a fuller feel than usual for a record ... If this is the army, sign us up – because these guys make the Kiss Army look like a bunch of wussies!
