Bad Company

LP (Item 563150) Swan Song, 1974 — Condition: Very Good
Gatefold

(Cover has light wear.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Autobahn
Vertigo, 1974. Very Good-
A groundbreaking record from Kraftwerk – a set that unified the 70s worlds of analogue electronics and prog rock – yet somehow managed to set the scene for a whole new sound to come! Tim Hardin

Tim Hardin 2
Verve, 1967. Very Good-
A beautiful album that inspired lots of other artists from Scott Walker to Leonard Nimoy! David Bowie

Hunky Dory
RCA, 1971. Near Mint-
Quite possibly David Bowie's first complete moment of genius – an incredibly-formed album that's filled with tunes beyond definition and description! There's still some traces of the earlier madman in the mix, but the overall sound is much more rock-heavy – although not without the ... LP, Vinyl record album

Love

Four Sail
Elektra, 1969. Very Good-
Much more of a hard rock affair than the group's third LP – kind of a return to the heavy guitars of Da Capo after the baroque beauty of Forever Changes – but a stone winner nonetheless! Arthur Lee's genius is still firmly in place, and although there's a back to basics rock feel on ... LP, Vinyl record album

Vertigo, 1970. Very Good- 2LP Gatefold
One of the coolest rock concept albums ever – and arguably the crowning moment for Aphrodite's Child – an incredibly hip Greek group from the early 70s – featuring a young Demis Roussos on vocals, and Vangelis Papathanassiou on organ, piano, vibes, flute, and a lot of other ... Hijack
Atco, 1974. Very Good-
One of the most widely-circulated albums from the second incarnation of Amon Duul – and one of the most striking as well! Crazy World Of Arthur Brown

Crazy World Of Arthur Brown
Track, 1968. Very Good-
A wild, far reaching psychedelic rock kaleidoscope from Arthur Brown and his Crazy World! Love From The Sun
Buddah, 1973. Near Mint- Gatefold
A spiritual jazz masterpiece from drummer Norman Connors – one of those unique albums he cut before moving into soul music – done at a level that rivals the early 70s genius on labels like Strata East or Impulse Records! Art Farmer

Work Of Art
New Jazz, 1954. Very Good-
A great batch of material that Art Farmer recorded for Prestige in the early fifties. This is way before he got hyper-lyrical, and his playing is raw and hard on a bunch of Quincy Jones arrangements, including the savage cut "Mau-Mau", which features a very early use of the electric bass ...
