(Yellow label pressing. Cover has a Suggested Cuts sticker, a small index label, bit of pen on back, and a piece of tape on the spine. Label has a small index label.)
Near Mint - (minus)
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A surprisingly nice solo set – with the classic "Rough Boys", plus "Cat's In The Cupboard", "Let My Love Open The Door", "Jools & Jim", "A Little Is Enough", and "I Am An Animal". LP, Vinyl record album
The cover image here gives you an idea of what's going on – with Neil Young looking away from the rest of the group – as the album's not just the last by Buffalo Springfield, it also really shows the key members striving for a solo voice of their own! The set was released after Buffalo ... LP, Vinyl record album
An overlooked gem from the Cali scene of the late 60s – music by a group with folksy roots, a bit of a British influence, and a warmth that sometimes gives them a bit of a Sunshine Pop vibe – but one that really hints at much deeper possibilities that should have made them huge! There's ... LP, Vinyl record album
A pretty groovy little record – featuring the String A Long guitar group of early 60s pop fame, recorded with lots of multi-tracking work to make the guitars go bigger, and the sound go wider. As the title implies, they perform a range of hits from around the world – kind of a criss-cro ... LP, Vinyl record album
A classic killer from The Fabulous Rhinestones – a group with a plenty soulful approach to their music, even if the group was probably more of a rock outfit than a funk-based one! There's some heavy rhythms on most of the tracks – kind of a gentle funky groove that's mixed in with ... LP, Vinyl record album
Leonard Cohen's first live album, featuring material captured in London, Brussels, Paris and Berlin in 1972, plus a couple of recordings from 1970 – including Cohen's legendary appearance at Isle Of Wight! Live Songs never really got its due respect in its day, but it's pretty much an ... LP, Vinyl record album
