This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or pressing details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A fairly lush soundtrack from Michel Legrand – scored for a WWII period piece that starred Susan Sarandon, but done at a level that matches some of Legrand's more famous film music from the 70s! Orchestrations are rich, and filled with sentiment – and the album's got an especially ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the greatest soundtracks ever from the early years of Henry Mancini – a hip jazzy TV score that we've loved for years! The jazzy theme to "Mr Lucky" is reason enough to buy this album – as it's got these wonderful warm washes of sound, interlayed in a way that makes ... LP, Vinyl record album
With selections by Jimmi Haskell, James Gang, Country Joe & The Fish, Doug Kershaw, New York Rock N Roll Ensemble, and White Lightnin'. LP, Vinyl record album
Features soul classics by Marvin Gaye, The Temptaions, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, and Aretha Franklin, and The Exciters, plus a few rock hits by The Rascals, Three Dog Night, and Procol Harum. LP, Vinyl record album
One of the grooviest Michael Caine spy films of the 60s – given an equally groovy soundtrack by Konrad Elfers! We don't know Elfers from other work of the time, but this album's a real standout – not the usual spy sort of work, although still with some great jazzy touches at times ... LP, Vinyl record album
A dreamy little soundtrack to this lesser-known film – but a real bossa classic from the 60s, featuring original tunes by Luiz Bonfa and orchestrations by Deodato! The sound of the set is really wonderful – sometimes fragile, sometimes full – with a juxtaposition that beautifully ... LP, Vinyl record album
A real mish-mash of terrible music (then again, wasn't the movie pretty terrible too?) – but the record is noteworthy for the track "Living In America", which was a bit of a comeback tune for James Brown – and not a bad little number when you think about it. Of course, the ... LP, Vinyl record album
A really wonderful soundtrack, with loads of groovy tracks! The film stars Jack Lemmon, and the format of the record is similar to the Odd Couple – in that musical tracks are interspersed with dialogue, to keep the feel of the progression of the movie. Side one has some especially groovy ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great little album by Roy Ayers – one that features none of his hits, which means lots of fresh material – and which has great examples of both sides of Roy's talents at the time! The dancefloor side of Roy kicks in with "Love Will Bring Us Back Together", an extremely ... LP, Vinyl record album
