Very Good
Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean,
and not too dirty.
May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play,
but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep.
Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well,
with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song,
but never throughout a whole song or more.
This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times,
but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A really wonderful little record – by a group who should have been much bigger than they were! Despite the fact that these guys are an obscure rock band with a silly name, the record's a perfect example of the subtly soulful work that was coming out of various west coast sources during the ... The first appearance of the Frippertronics delay line built by Fripp and Eno out of a couple of tape decks. Somehow even though this is nearly pure process music, it manages to sound far from dated, cliched or boring – ambient bliss meets only slightly noodly prog guitar in a hall of mirrors. ... Almost a "greatest hit" of "greatest hits" collection – given the importance of this album to the David Bowie catalog! Sure, it compiles tracks from other releases – but it also was the album that gave the world the killer cut "John I'm Only Dancing" ... LP, Vinyl record album
A garage psych masterpiece! Count Five only ever recorded this one album – an instantly powerful blend of fuzzy guitars, heavy burnout organ grooves, raucous rhythms that are as urgent & hard grooving as can be – a record as important to the sound of Northern California rock as ... The first live album from The Beach Boys – and a bit more straight than later live dates, but still pretty nice overall! Like their Party album from the 60s, this set shows a slightly different side of the group than their Brian Wilson-polished studio sessions – a bit more ... LP, Vinyl record album
The one astounding studio album of proto punk/abrasive psych genius from the Monks – a true masterpiece if their ever was one, a record that's been ripped off by myriad more famous groups in both the mainstream and rock underground of the past 40 years!
