Jimmy's working here in trio formation – shifting between bop and ballad modes with a trio that includes Eddie McFadden on guitar and Donald Bailey on drums (Art Blakey makes an appearance on the kit on one track too!) The sound is chunky, unbridled, and a lot more dangerous than Smith in his later Blue Note recordings – a mode that really shows the raw power of the Hammond at its best! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
