Italian pianist Giorgio Gaslini's always been his own man in music – and on this compelling set, he really turns some Monk compositions on their ear – using the tunes only as very spare frameworks for his own improvisations, which often take flight on the full reaches of the keyboard of the piano! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
