Beatles – 1967 to 1970

LP (Item 557633) Apple, Late 60s — Condition: Very Good+
2LP Gatefold
A fantastic collection of work from the second half of The Beatles great run in the 60s – a 2LP set that was a very important introduction of the group to 70s listeners! Titles include "Penny Lane", "Strawberry Fields Forever", "Back In The USSR", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Hey Jude", "Revolution", "Get Back", "Don't Let Me Down", "Old Brown Shoe", "Something", "Come Together", "Octopus' Garden", "Across The Universe", "Let It Be", "All You Need Is Love", "Hello Goodbye", and lots more!  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(70s Japanese pressing. Includes the printed inner sleeves. Cover has a wavy upper corner with a faint stain, edge wear, patchy ring wear.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Hard to deny the lasting power of this crucial album from The Beatles – a set that unleashed some of their trippiest sounds and most tender moments too! Pure brilliance from start to finish – especially the second side of the record, which has a continuous run of tunes that's very unique – and still completely sublime all these many years later! The Beatles at their late best – on 1968's self-titled set – now immortalized as The White Album! The White Album capped offed a period of intense creativity for the band with a double that's as freewheeling as anything they'd ever release. It's got raw rockers with wry lyricism, ... Revolver

Maybe our favorite Beatles album ever – a key set that bridges the catchiness of the early years and the sharper ideas of later albums – with a slightly sinister undercurrent that really keeps things fresh! The first true proper solo album by John Lennon – recorded after a few non-Beatles records with Yoko Ono, and at the same time as Yoko's much wilder album with a similar title!
