If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Although the date of this one might make you think that Al's softening it up a bit, that's definitely not the case! If anything, the record's a bit rougher than some of his earlier albums on Hi – with Willie Mitchell still working on production and arrangements, but perhaps not crossing all ... CD
Hi Records perfection from the mighty Al Green – slightly later than some of his key early hits, but a record that shows Green still taking fire on all burners! Production is by the team of Al and Willie Mitchell – in a mode that's slightly fuller and more updated than before, but ... CD
What is there to say about Al Green that hasn't been said already? The man's a genius – with a sweetly seductive style that few other singers could ever hope to match. And now that he's back in action again, his older work is getting more attention than ever – the occasion for this ... CD
A flirty little record from Evelyn Champagne King – one that's got a very different groove than her disco-styled records in the 70s – one that's very firmly in the mid 80s modes that Manhattan Records were using with other singers at the time! Beats are bigger than before, but the ... CD
Sublime 60s soul – and a motherlode of rare work by 2 singers that we totally love! Betty Lavette's one of those voices who's finally getting her due after all these years – a great singer who recorded some incredible work for a variety of labels over the years – and who steps ... CD
Although he's probably best remembered these days as the genius producer behind most of the great Memphis soul records on the Hi Records label, Willie Mitchell was also quite a big soul star in his day. He played lead trumpet on a huge amount of instrumental singles and LPs issued under his own ... CD
