A 2CD collection of 90s work recorded by Jack McDuff for Concord Records! Sure, it's not Prestige Records in the 60s, but the music is still plenty darn great – thanks to the never-failing talents of Brother Jack in his later years! At the time these sides were released, we remember wincing that Jack had moved onto Concord Records – often home of the softer side of jazz. But as the records came out, we were impressed at the strength of their grooves – and the way that McDuff could hold onto a classic Hammond-heavy sound in the Concord setting – and never give into some of the sleepier modes of the label. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
