Three In The Attic

LP (Item 55286) Sidewalk, Late 60s — Condition: Near Mint-
Groovy stuff from Chad & Jeremy – a rare soundtrack, but one of their best albums from the 60s! The album's got loads of jangle-happy tunes done in a 60s mode that recalls the best of the post-Brit Invasion years – guitars upfront, dreamy vocals, and more complicated orchestrations that open up the sound a lot from regular pop tunes of the 60s. The first five tracks on the LP are vocal numbers that include "Good Morning Sunrise", "Paxton Quigley's Had the Course", "Tobey's Song", and "Know Yourself" – and the last track is the extended instrumental "Background Music", a cool suite written by Chad Stuart with flutes, guitars, and strings!  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Henry Mancini

Gunn . . . Number One!
RCA, 1968. Very Good
Nice 60s crime jazz from Mancini! Although Mancini's fame was made in the late 50s for his work on the classic Peter Gunn TV show, it's less known that he also did the score for the less-than-successful Peter Gunn film. Directed in 1967 by Blake Edwards, the film was a weak attempt to transfer ... LP, Vinyl record album

Man Called Adam
Reprise, 1966. Very Good-
A nice little soundtrack from the prime years of the Rat Pack – for a film that featured Sammy Davis Jr as a trumpet player! Happy Ending
United Artists, 1969. Near Mint-

Seduced & Abandoned
CAM, 1964. Near Mint-
A great Italian comedy score from the early 60s – put together in key transitional modes by composer Carlo Rustichelli! RCA, 1968. Sealed
A fantastic early soundtrack from the great Pat Williams – cut around the same 60s stretch that he was doing his wonderful albums for Verve – in the years before he'd break bigger with TV work for The Bob Newhart Show and other 70s programs! 36 Hours
Vee Jay, Mid 60s. Sealed
A stark and jagged soundtrack for this mid 60s thriller that starred James Garner and Eva Marie Saint.
