This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Amazing sounds from Gal Costa – a brilliant live album that follows strongly in the mode of her Recanto studio album! Like that set, this one features Gal in the most experimental style she's used in years – bits of electronics and contemporary underground modes layered in with her ... CD
Heady heady work from the legendary Gal Costa – caught here right at her early best, smack dab in the middle of the Tropicalia years! The album's one of Gal's legendary collaborations with arranger Rogerio Duprat – and it's very much in the spirit of her other incredible session from ... CD
To our ears, Gal's always been a bit less of a diva than other Brazilian female singers – much more of an intimate, personal artist – with a sound that's changed over the years, but has always maintained a level of charm that's undeniable. The set brings together an assortment of Gal's ... CD
Features tunes by Caetano Veloso, Jorge Ben, Gilberto Gil, and Djvan – most of whom make guest appearances on the set, along with Arto Lindsay and Marc Ribot! Titles include "Alkahool", "Serene", "Voce E Voce", "Nuvem Negra", "La Vagem Do ... CD
A real moment of beauty from Gal Costa in the 70s – a set that moves away from her more experimental music of the Tropicalia generation, and yields a more personal approach overall – one that's quite similar to the best from Caetano Veloso at the time! As with Caetano during this shift ... CD
Kind of a painful movie, but a pretty sweet soundtrack! The set features a number of new works produced by Deodato, very much in the spirit of his Inutil Paisagem 60s bossa recordings – with wonderfully complex airy melodies, and a touch so light you can't believe there's actually a ... CD
A landmark album – not just in Brazilian music, but in all modern music in general! The set's a legendary manifesto for the Tropicalia movement in Brazil – and features key works by all the leading musical luminaries in the movement – including a few later stars who are heard ... CD
Brazilian issue of an album that was released by MCA in America, and which had (in America) a primitive painting on the cover, with the word Jobim in handwriting. Features one of the best versions of "Aqua De Marco" ever, done up in these haunting blue chords, backed by great baroque ... CD
