LP (Item 548336) Atco, 1970 — Condition: Very Good+
Gatefold
Titles include "Ain't No Rules In California", "Rise Up", "Gas Lamps & Clay", "Take Me Back", and "Good Life".  © 1996-2022, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Cover has a cutout notch.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Manifesto
Atco, 1979. Very Good
A brilliant little comeback album for Roxy Music – their first album in 4 years after Siren, and a well-done departure that takes off from older records without losing any of their greatness! Gary Numan

I Assassin
Atco, 1982. Near Mint-
Gary Numan's looking mighty noirish on the cover – and the record continues that fantastic run of dark-edged electro pop that made the man one of the most important song stylists of his generation! Hard to go wrong with the insanity of this one! The record broke the bank of Genesis, but really allowed Peter Gabriel to trip out nicely as his swan song to the band. LP, Vinyl record album
Atco, 1976. Near Mint- Gatefold
Life after Peter Gabriel – with Phil Collins doing a surprisingly great job on vocals – free from all the tripe of later years! Donald Fagen

Nightfly
Warner, 1982. Near Mint-
A bit of jazzy magic from Fagen – stepping out from the cover of Steely Dan after the Gaucho album, and sounding pretty darn great on his own! The record is almost nostalgic, going back to a 50s of Brubeck, abstract expressionism, and pre-Castro Havana – filled with images that are a ... LP, Vinyl record album
