Murmur

LP (Item 546789) IRS, 1983 — Condition: Very Good

("B" label pressing, including printed inner sleeve. Cover has light wear.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Lords Of The New Church

Lords Of The New Church
IRS, 1982. Near Mint-
Moody early 80s modern rock from Lords Of The New Church – a group made of bonafide punk rock legends – fearlessly moving on here, and once again paving the way for many other bands to come, in a new style! The self-titled first album is also their best – with an underlying grit ... LP, Vinyl record album

Kraftwerk

Autobahn
Vertigo, 1974. Very Good-
A groundbreaking record from Kraftwerk – a set that unified the 70s worlds of analogue electronics and prog rock – yet somehow managed to set the scene for a whole new sound to come! Sam The Sham & The Pharoahs

Their Second Album
MGM, Mid 60s. Very Good-
More craziness from one of the best party bands of the 60s – the 2nd full LP by the group, and a wild workout of familiar covers and a few originals. Titles include "Ju Ju Hand", "I've Got A Voo Doo Doll", "The Gypsy", "Magic Man", "Medicine ... LP, Vinyl record album

Love

Four Sail
Elektra, 1969. Very Good-
Much more of a hard rock affair than the group's third LP – kind of a return to the heavy guitars of Da Capo after the baroque beauty of Forever Changes – but a stone winner nonetheless! Arthur Lee's genius is still firmly in place, and although there's a back to basics rock feel on ... LP, Vinyl record album

One of the coolest rock concept albums ever – and arguably the crowning moment for Aphrodite's Child – an incredibly hip Greek group from the early 70s – featuring a young Demis Roussos on vocals, and Vangelis Papathanassiou on organ, piano, vibes, flute, and a lot of other ... Amon Duul II

Hijack
Atco, 1974. Very Good-
One of the most widely-circulated albums from the second incarnation of Amon Duul – and one of the most striking as well! The set's got a bit more focus than some of their earlier efforts, but a sound that's still plenty darn trippy – with more carefully-constructed passages that bring ... LP, Vinyl record album

Crazy World Of Arthur Brown

Crazy World Of Arthur Brown
Track, 1968. Very Good-
A wild, far reaching psychedelic rock kaleidoscope from Arthur Brown and his Crazy World!
