This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A vintage UK issue of classic work that Charlie Parker recorded for Savoy – with a fair bit of performances by the young Miles Davis on trumpet, plus piano by Bud Powell and John Lewis! LP, Vinyl record album

Posthumous issue of an early 50s live set by Charlier Parker – one of the many that were rushed to the public in the years after his early death. The set, like many of the other live ones from the time, isn't recorded that well – but the music is still pretty wonderful. There's a real ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of our favorite of Verve's "genius of" collections of Charlie Parker's work – largely because it includes some wonderful and oft-overlooked vocal tunes! 4 of the tracks on the set feature Bird blowing with a vocal chorus arranged by Dave Lambert – in a style that shouldn't ... Volume 3 in Verve's LP run through their Charlie Parker catalog, with some straight quartet sides, and a number of tracks from the Jam Session LPs. The small group stuff includes "Au Prive", "She Rote", "Mohawk", and "Begin The Beguine"; and the Jam Session ... LP, Vinyl record album
An essential set of tracks – as it includes most of the best master takes from Parker's legendary Dial Recordings! The material is floating around a lot on CD these days, but this great set is just about the best way you can hook yourself up with the tracks on vinyl – as it includes ... LP, Vinyl record album

An overlooked bit of piano genius from the 60s – a split LP with great work from both artists! Sadik kicks things off with the "east" side of the record – tunes that have a supposedly exotic feel, but which are mostly soul jazz piano groovers – performed by a quartet ... LP, Vinyl record album
No real date or personnel on this one, and the album's a live set recorded, most likely, at some time in the 50s. The quality of the recording isn't great, and you hear a heck of a lot of crowd noise – but the work's an interesting document of Pres during the period, as the tunes are all ... Early bop sides, not led by Miles as you might imagine from this package, but featuring him. We're not entirely certain of the origin of these recordings, but they are at least contemporaneous with the Savoy sides Miles was cutting with Bird, and according to the notes, feature Charlie Parker, ... Great late recordings from trumpeter Charlie Shavers – ostensibly recorded in Paris, where he spent a good part of his time in the 60s, although issued here with no real notes, which makes it tough to tell the real origin of the material! Charlie's tone still has that sweet and sparkly edge ... LP, Vinyl record album
