This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A great mix of styles from this up-and-coming Japanese crew – a group who work equally well in hip hop and cosmic soul territory, and who are getting help here from a huge array of guest stars! Breakthrough work hard to craft some beautifully jazzy and laidback beats on the set – but ... CD
Marcelo's not lying with the title to this one – as the record bristles with a lot more Brazilian influences than some of his previous work – a brilliant blend of the classic and the modern, served up with plenty of hip hop touches! But while certainly in the hip hop camp, Marcelo's ... CD
A dubby soulful track from The Underwolves – one that gets completely transformed in the remixes! The orginals' already great – but the Heavy Manners remix kicks up the beat a bit, and adds in some snakey moog that gives the cut a slick soundtrack feel. The Juryman mix throws in lots ... CD
A fantastic full length set from Quasimode – the Japanese club jazz combo who first blew our minds with their single for Raw Fusion! Hearing them here in a full LP, the sound is even better than before – a range of jazzy changes and tight instrumental work that reminds us of Blue Note ... CD
Not Latin, so much as modern electronic tunes with a Latin influence – similar to work on the New Latinaires series on Ubiquity. The selection includes a number of titles from overseas sources, plus remixed pulled from the very successful catalog of Six Degrees. Titles include "Royal ... CD
A set of special tracks for the lush 7th floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel in Chicago – hand-picked and mixed by King Britt, who also managed to come up with some exclusive tunes for the set! The groove is laidback and soulful throughout – a warm mix of indie soul, spacey grooves, and ... CD
Killer jazzy grooves from the bourgeoning French jazz house scene! St Germain take a Blue Note 70s sound as their base – with lots of sweet Hammond riffs, mellow Fender Rhodes licks, funky flute lines, and spacey percussion – then they add in some tight soulful house rhythms, with a ... CD
Fantastic stuff – and a jazz remix project with a real difference! The difference here is that instead of taking older jazz tracks and re-doing them in dance music versions, the set takes original dance tracks and re-does them in jazz versions! The result is wonderful – a warm-voiced ... CD
