A nice little collection of Art's work for CTI in the 70s – moody and laidback tunes with a bit of funk in them, all stretched out in that warm Bob James-y sort of way. The slightly electric setting actually proved to be a great thing for Art's mellow horn – and helped him open up in ways that were kind of unexpected, but always nice and pleasant.
