Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
Harmony soul heaven – a rare double-header from two hip New York groups! Both The Paragons and Jesters have a fantastic approach – heavy on group vocal interplay, in ways that really show the evolution of doo wop in the early soul years! There's a heartbreaking quality to many of the ... CD
A set from the early 80s, but still totally great – a record that has the Average White Band stepping along in smooth jazzy style – still with all their best 70s roots intact! The group are tight, yet still far from commercial – beautifully suited to the warmly soulful sounds ... CD
A late effort from Sister Sledge – a sparkling batch of pop funk and smoothed out grooves – produced by George Duke! Bet Cha Say That To All The Girls didn't get over in the mainstream in the way that their late 70s work got over, but it's got excellent harmonies and powerhouse lead ... CD
One of Wither's most underrated sets, a nice effort from the latter part of his Columbia career. The set has the sort of modern soul polish throughout that separates these CBS sides from his earlier grittier work for Sussex, and though the sound has a little more commercial and mainstream appeal ... CD
Excellent work by one of our favorite vocal groups of the 70s! The Futures first caught our attention for their earlier album on Buddah – but this set features both of their albums on Philly International – and are a perfect example of how the Gamble & Huff team could take a good ... CD
Tracks by Carl Henderson, Sam Cox, Barbara Lynn, The Attractions, Little Tony, Tender Loving Care, The Sequins, The Superbs, The Stunners, and more. CD
Sam's greatest hits from the RCA years – including "Twistin The Night Away", "Having A Party", "Good Times", "Another Saturday Night", "Cupid", "Wonderful World", "When A Boy Falls In Love", "Only 16", "Chain ... CD
The title's a bit of a joke, but it points the way towards the nature of this very special project – as the "S" is the San Francisco Symphony, working with the "M" of Metallica – all in a very special blend of their own sounds with some larger orchestrations ... CD
