This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

A well-remembered set from JVC Force – a group who were maybe most notable at the time as being one of the best labelmates of Boogie Down Productions on B-Boy Records – and who should have been able to give the world a lot more music than they did, thanks to the strength of this album! ... CD
Funky hip hop beatcraft laced with far out psychedelic samples from German producer Dexter – and it's a trip, alright – a far out funky one at that! Dexter lays down a thick layer of hypnotic beats underneath a sprawling batch of sampled sounds from the psychedelic area and beyond, but ... CD
A fluid set of groovy turntablism from DJ Cam! This time out Cam seems to just as eagar give to nod to some of the other titans of DJ culture as he is to move his own work forward – and it's that aristocratic method that really puts the record over. He's got the scratch-and-sample bite of ... CD
Maybe the crowning achievement of DJ Cash Money – a sharp DJ from the early Philly scene – and a talent who was every bit as great at the time on as Jazzy Jeff on the wheels of steel! Cash is paired here with Marvelous, an MC whose sense of wit really matches the sharpness of the ... CD
Some of the finer Private Press-era Shadow cuts get stretched out, beat up, and kicked into overdrive by UNKLE, Soulwax, DJ Z Trip and others! Z Trip's take on "Right Thing" revisits Shadow's style directly – breaking the track up into three uptempo parts, making it into a bit of ... CD
Biggie's masterpiece – remastered! There's very little we could possibly say about this east coast landmark that isn't already etched in stone in the annals of hip hop history. Biggie's a master storyteller, whether he's spinning tales of violent street nihilism, his skills beneath the ... CD
A richly complex album from vibist Teddy Charles – easily one of his greatest albums ever, and certainly one with the boldest sound! The groups here are filled with hip players – all working under Charles' direction in a set of tracks that shimmers with dark sounds and moody colors ... CD
