If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

Incredible 70s work from the lovely Astrud Gilberto – a rare effort for the CTI label that has her teaming up with arranger Eumir Deodato and saxophonist Stanley Turrentine – all in a groove that's totally different than most of her earlier work! Astrud's breathy vocals are still ... CD
A classic double-length collection of work by Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66 – originally titled a "Foursider" because of the 2LP format of the original! The package is overflowing with greatness by the group – and the extra space allows the set to include some real gems from ... CD
An insane collection of work from one of the most important percussionists in Brazil during the second half of the 20th Century – an artist who more than earns the king of rhythm title of this set! Jackson Do Panderio's so great at his work, he was nicknamed after his instrument – the ... CD
Kind of a dream combination in one little album – especially if you dig breezy bossa from the 60s! Back in 1966, Verve Records got the great idea of teaming up its (then) biggest Brazilian imports – vocalist Astrud Gilberto and organist Walter Wanderley – both of whom were ... CD
2 classic early bossa albums by Deodato – back to back on one CD! The set features 2 records – Samba Nova Concepcao and Impulso – both recorded in the early months of 1964, both featuring Deodato playing Hammond organ and piano over some very tasty bossa grooves! The backing ... CD
The third album from the legendary Os Mutantes – part of the essential trio of sides released during the Tropicalia years! The record's got a sound that's tighter and a bit more straightforward than their previous efforts – stricter song formats, and styles that lean heavily on rockish ... CD
2 of the best-ever albums by the Tamba Trio – out now on one CD! The records are a fantastic mix of vocal harmonies and bossa piano grooves, with a sound that's unlike anything else you've ever heard – unless you've heard some of the Tamba Trio's other excellent records! Luiz Eca ... CD
