This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A damn great bit of work from the legendary Al Green – maybe one of his best records ever – and in fact, maybe one of greatest soul albums of all time! The set's got a style that's really genre-defining – not the previous southern soul of a few years before, but also not the ... CD
Al Green's first LP – with a very different feel than his later work on Hi! The record's got a harder southern soul groove – almost in a Wilson Pickett/Arthur Conley mode, but with some sweeter elements in the backing. Al's voice is still incredible, although different than later, in ... CD
What can we say? Most of the biggest hits, and many of the very best tracks cut in the prime of Al Green's career – which is to say some of the very best Memphis soul ever recorded! 10 essential tracks in all, and it's just one of these Greatest Hits packages of pure, inarguable perfection ... CD
Well, we don't know if we'd say that Al Green is blues – because he's still singing in his wonderfully sweet warm style – but this album definitely has a sound that gives a nod to the classic bluesy soul that inspired Al's work. Apart from originals like "Get Back Baby" and ... CD
10 classic mellow tunes from Al Hudson & One Way – just the sort of material that shows why the combo were such underground stars back in the day! The set's got a nice focus on some of the group's mellower cuts – sweetly stepping numbers that have a wonderfully mellow glide and a ... CD
Groove-happy soul – a 14 track collection that brings together some of the best dancefloor numbers from Al Hudson's group One Way, plus a few solo tunes by one of its best singers, Alicia Myers! Hudson had a unique style that wasn't really disco, wasn't really funk – but took elements ... CD
A bit more mainstream than the first album from Second Image – but a set that still retains most of the group's charm! The best tracks here are sort of a laidback take on more forceful 80s groove modes – keyboards and basslines that snap nicely, but never go too far over the top – ... CD
A sweet sweet groover from Klique – with a sound that more than makes us forgive them for their silly costumes on the cover! The tunes on the set have a wonderfully simple approach to the groove – one that you might not expect from the group's glossy image, but which is served up here ... CD
