A landmark effort from the Legendary Roots Crew – one that a lot of folks hail as their greatest album – and there's a strong case to be made for that! Jazzy soul backdrops and lyrics that both personally and culturally reflective – and it's also the best produced Roots album to this point, with an unpredictable, yet perfect flow from track to track. Guests include Mos Def, Common, Erykah Badu and JazzyFatNastees. Titles include "The Next Movement", "Step Into The Realm", "The Spark", "Dynamite", "Without A Doubt" "Ain't Sayin' Nothin' New", "Double Trouble", "Adrenaline!" and "Don't See Us".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible.

When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs — so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.

All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Two of our favorites off the "Illadelph Halflife" LP. "Sections" features a smooth organ line throughout. "Clones" uses a spare piano loop and harder rhyme styles, off set by the very brief, very mellow break. CD

Loud, 1999. Used
The last album from Prodigy & Havoc's classic run in the 90s – still with the distinctively raw, now legendary street style of the early to mid-period Mobb Deep – with appearances by Nas, Raekwon, Big Noyd, 8-Ball, Lil Cease, Lil Kim and more. In their prime, Mobb Deep had a way of ... CD

Atlantic/Downtown, 2006. Used
A synthy soul funk project from the team of Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo – a set that's just trippy enough – and it's possibly the best full length from either party, ever! You don't need us to tell you that DM has had a finger in a handful of the best fringe pop/leftfield hip hop projects ... CD

Fashawn

Boy Meets World
One, 2009. Used
Soulful hip hop from Cali's Fashawn – the storytelling sense, and in the way the tunes hit you deeply where it counts – with appearances by Blu, Exile, Aloe Blacc & others. Exile produced, and he did so excellent, with resonantly soulful and sometimes jazzy sounds, with surprising ... CD
