This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

One of the best albums in years from drummer Billy Hart – a set that's awash in dynamic work on the drum kit, and which features a piano-less trio with some especially great tenor and soprano sax! There's a fluid, searching kind of feel going on here – one that spins out wonderfully on ... CD
A beautiful trio date from Billy Hart – one that has the famous drummer joined in a trio by two younger players – bassist Martin Zenker and tenorist Johannes Enders! The mix of drums, bass, and tenor is really compelling right from the get-go – and the bass and drums are ... CD
Hard talk, and lots of heavy sounds from the great Mal Waldron – heard here in a set that may well be one of his greatest moments of the 70s! The album's a key illustration of Waldron's power on the European scene of the time – and it's noteworthy not just for Mal's bold vision as a ... CD
The river is deep and the sound is wide – as the set features wonderful work from the Fort Apache Band of trumpeter/percussionist Jerry Gonzalez – recorded at a point when the group was really starting to cook! The music has its roots in Afro-Cuban styles, but stretches out with plenty ... CD
Young lion jazz from a great little combo – one headed up by pianist Marc Cary, and featuring Roy Hargrove on trumpet, Ron Blake on tenor, and Yarborough Charles Laws on flute! The record's got the positive, forward-thinking sound you'd guess from the players – a great mix of entitled ... CD
