Temptations 25th Anniversary

LP (Item 51973) Motown, 1960s/1970s — Condition: Very Good+
2LP
22 classic tracks by the Temptations – wrapped up in a package that celebrates their 25 years for Motown, but which mostly features classic work from the old days! Titles include "Get Ready", "I Can't Get Next to You", "Cloud Nine", "Just My Imagination", "Come To Me", "Soulmate", "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", "Glass House", "Power", "Treat Her Like A Lady", "Since I Lost My Baby", "So Much Joy", "I Want A Love I Can See", and "My Girl".  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Temptations

Truly For You
Gordy, 1984. Near Mint-
A great 80s set from The Temptations – one of the few Motown acts who managed to deliver great work again and again over the years! The production has some 80s traces that are slightly dated, but the vocals are still top-shelf all the way – strongly moved much more into a mellow and ... LP, Vinyl record album

Bare Back
Atlantic, 1978. Very Good+

Song For You
Motown, 1975. Very Good

Temptations

Masterpiece
Gordy, 1973. Very Good+
They certainly got the title right on this one – because the album's an early 70s masterpiece from the Temptations – one of the last in their legendary run of records with Norman Whitfield! All Directions
Gordy, 1972. Near Mint-
The Temptations going in all directions – and all of them pretty darn groovy too! Bloodstone

Don't Stop!
Motown, 1978. Near Mint-
A great later album from Bloodstone – recorded after their initial classics for London, but in a sweet and mellow soul mode that's totally outta site! Motown, 1964. Very Good+
About as classic as you can get for the early Supremes – a set that has the group really hitting hard on all levels, thanks to production from the team of Holland-Dozier-Holland, plus a bit of help from Smokey Robinson – all of whom really help push the Supremes out of simple girl group ... Midnight Magic
Motown, 1979. Very Good+
