This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Willie Colon helps Ismael Miranda get a new sense of energy in his music – backing the vocalist here with a tight set of salsa backings that are every bit the best Colon sound of the late 70s! The arrangers here are varied – and include Luis Cruz, Marty Sheller, and Luis Garcia – ... LP, Vinyl record album

The hard ones serve up a great blend of Latin soul, late 60s pop, and some heavy-hitting touches! Bobby Cruz is still singing a few of these tunes in his slightly more romantic style of the 60s – but the best cuts on the album have a snapping, upbeat quality that really makes them groove ... A great document of the crossover between the New York Latin scene and the Catskills – the upstate resort community that was as important to the Latin groups as the uptown clubs! Like many groups of the period, Machito's found a heck of a lot of work in the Catskills during the 50s – ... LP, Vinyl record album
Loads of salsa classics from this great bassist along with La Critica and Dimension Latina – including "Chipi Chipi", "Sun Sun Babae", "El Frutero", "Ven Morena", "Para Chango", "Monta Mi Caballo", and "El Manicero". LP, Vinyl record album
Plenty plenty soul here – as Milt Jackson's moving away from the Modern Jazz Quartet, and working with a great group of players that really expand his sound! The session's a bit like some of Milt's soul jazz work for Riverside and other labels – in that it's got rhythms, timings, and ... LP, Vinyl record album
A wonderful album of Latin grooves from Shorty! The record is one of his best, and features a whopping array of percussionists – including Carlos Vidal, Modesto Duran, and Mike Pacheco all coming into play with Shorty's west coast style of arrangements, tweaked greatly here to pick up an ... One of the best albums ever recorded by this legendary Bay Area funk combo – a key part of that city's crossover scene, and a group who always deserves a second listen!
