Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Wonderful work from Beady Belle – a group who never lets us down! Belvedere is every bit as silky and soulful as some of Beady Belle's previous work – but perhaps a bit more subtle too, and a record that really does a great job of finding its own place, and its own sense of voice. The ... CD
Jay and crew are at it again – coming up with a consistently soulful batch of tracks that shows the Jamiroquai sound has plenty of steam for the 21st Century! As with previous albums, this one's got a mix of jazzy house, Stevie Wonder soul, and touches of modern rhythms that are used ... CD
Divine sounds from the mighty Cody Chestnutt – a singer who's come a long way from both his Headphone Masterpiece album, and the long drought that followed that classic set! Cody's very firmly back in the driver's seat – and he's working strongly to remind folks that fuzzy, abstract ... CD
Brilliant work by Omar – his 3rd album, supposedly a real break-out effort, but a record that disappeared almost immediately, thanks to poor handling by the label! The record's an excellent batch of instant-classic soul tracks – done with a modern production twist, but still very much ... CD
Captivating, genre-defying indie soul from Girl Named Nino – a girl originally from Tbilisi, Georgia who has long called the Chicago area home, has a sound as far reaching as her travels, but it still feels intimate and personal! Her voice is front-and-center throughout Moonlight Daughter, in ... CD
Omar's second album for BMG – and an instant classic set of soul tracks that sadly almost disappeared as soon as it was released! The album shows Omar growing even stronger than ever both as a singer and songwriter – moving from the indie feel of earlier work into a confident role as ... CD
Ok so she's got a Grammy – but that makes us love her even more! Jill Scott is one of the greatest soul artists to emerge in the past decade – and this second album avoids the usual "sophomore slump" by showing a whole new side of her talents! Disc one is a great live set ... CD
The breakthrough LP that brought Monday Michiru out of Japan, and exposed her work to a new worldwide audience! The record (like so many of her others) features performances by a great array of cool guests, including Cleveland Watkiss, DJ Krush, and Simon Richmond of Palm Skin Productions. The ... CD
The great first full album from Cooly's Hot Box – issued hot on the heels of a number of great singles and compilation tracks, and the start of a great run that's continued to flower strongly over the years! The album's a real blend of styles – and shifts from jazzy funked-up tracks ... CD
