If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

An amazing album – and a space soul classic for the 21st Century! Steve Spacek really caught us by surprise with this set – because he's working here in a much deeper groove than ever before – one that's slower, spacier, and which has him coming off like some outer space version ... CD
Sublime soul from Heston – an artist who's perhaps a bit underrecorded, compared to some singers of his generation – but one who really knows how to come out of the box with some great stuff, once the time is right! The album's a great evolution in sound since we'd last heard from ... CD
The mighty Tom Moulton takes on the Brand New Heavies – and the results are completely sublime! We totally loved the BNH album Get Used To It – as it was a real return to the best funky soul of their roots – but this Tom Moulton version sounds even better, with an even heavier, ... CD
A jaw-dropper from Terrace Martin – the kind of record that sneaks on the market under everyone's ears, but will no doubt be one of those sets we'll all go back to again and again over the years! Martin's got a beautifully fresh take on funky jazz – steeped somewhat in the classic ... CD
A wonderful return to form for drummer Art Taylor – and a set that crackles with the same sense of soul and fire as his legendary 50s work for Blue Note and Prestige! Taylor's working here in an open-ended hardbop mode that makes the most of the live setting of the record – and which ... CD
A great set from AACM legend – tenorist Fred Anderson – cut in the very familiar home territory of his Velvet Lounge in Chicago! Anderson had been tending bar and leading jam sessions at the tavern since his return from Europe in the early 80s – but ended up purchasing the venue ... CD
