Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
One of the hippest non-reissue records we've heard so far from the Jazzman Records empire – a massive set of grooves with a really odd sort of feel! Natural Yogurt Band work in spare, funky territory – serving up some very heavy drums (played by Wayne Fullwood, formerly of Little ... CD
A great new showcase for the music of Alex Puddu – the contemporary groover who's given us some wonderful music over the years – including his famous Golden Age Of Danish Pornography sets! This album's more of a back-to-basics affair for Puddu – recorded with a tight combo, and a ... CD
Massively heavy funk from Brownout – and a set that may well be their greatest so far! We weren't sure what to expect when the group hit the Nat Geo label – but honestly, they seem like they're even rawer and rootsier than before – really serving up a brilliant blend of funk and ... CD
A great German combo, and one with almost as much jazz as funk in the mix – quite a nice change from the usual group of this nature! There's a warm glow to the record right from the start – a vibe that comes from the tight trumpet lines of Michael Voss, who also sings a bit – and ... CD
One of the funkiest groups of the past decade – and a hell of a great little album, right down to the JBs-styled cover art! Osaka Monaurail have it going on all fronts – tight drums, economical bass, riffing guitars, and the kind of horn work that we haven't heard since Fred Wesley ... CD
A brilliant mix of Afro and deep funk styles – the kind of grooves you'd get if Fela Kuti hung out with The Meters in the late 60s! Budos Band recall the genius of 90s deep funk combo The Daktaris – and have a similar love of older African rhythms touched by a newer indie funk sound ... CD
Nothing messy here – as the Burners are tighter than ever, and bat this one out of the park with a massively funky groove! The core combo features organ, guitar, and drums – with occasional horns added from time to time – and most numbers here step off with a really badass ... CD
No side-stepping these grooves – as they're right, tight, and very much on the money – work that shows a real evolution in the sound of The Bamboos, and one that takes them strongly into deep soul territory! These guys have always had a great ear for classic funk, but this time around ... CD
Funky grooves, psychedelic sitar, and mod Hammond organ – a magnificent blend that's every bit as dynamic as the image on the cover – served up as the long-awaited debut album from this cool European combo! The album's got a feel that's somewhere between 60s spy soundtracks and Brit ... CD
Hot stuff from Eddie Roberts & The Fire Eaters – certainly some of the most incendiary and hardest grooving work from modern funk master Roberts and his stellar group – featuring members of Spain's excellent Sweet Vandals and other great players! The Fire Eaters both bring heated, ... CD
Incredible funk from The Poets Of Rhythm – one of the hardest and heaviest groups in the deep funk underground – and one of the first, too – given that most of the work here pre-dates efforts by all the rest of the Daptone and Soul Fire generation! Long before there was even a ... CD
Landmark stuff, and a beautiful album that mixes soulful tracks with Donny's nascent jazz sensibility! The set's a key chapter in the history of soul music – a record that has Donny emerging from shadows of the Chicago studio scene to become one of the most promising soul artists of the 70s. ... CD
