3LPs
The title's not lying – and the package features 3 LPs worth of material by the Temps and Four Tops, licensed from Motown for this special package. The Tops clock in with tracks that include "It's All In The Game", "Still Water", "Walk Away Renee", "7 Rooms Of Gloom", "Standing In The Shadows Of Love", "Something About You", and "I Can't Help Myself". The Temps follow up with tunes that include "I Can't Get Next To You", "Papa Was A Rolling Stone", "Psychedelic Shack", "Cloud Nine", "I Wish It Would Rain", "You're My Everything", "Beauty's Only Skin Deep", and lots more!  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Late 80s issue, still sealed but bent a bit at the corners and with a wide center split in the bottom seam.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Groovy late 60s work from Diana Ross & The Supremes – a record that has them breaking the Motown mold a bit, and hooking up with a nice variety of modder soul and pop modes! Diana Ross & The Supremes with The Temptations

TCB
Motown, 1968. Very Good+
One of the odder 60s LPs from the Supremes, the soundtrack to a film that starred the group, with some guest appearances by The Temptations – in Motown-show versions of tracks that often feature the singers lapsing into medleys of other tunes, or doing some popular hits of the day. Marvin Gaye & Diana Ross

Diana & Marvin
Motown, 1973. Very Good+ Gatefold
A surprisingly nice album – even if you're not a fan of Diana Ross! Given that Marvin and Diana are standing back to back on the front cover, we kind of get the idea that there wasn't as much sympathy in the session as on some of Marvin's classic duet sides from the 60s with Tammi Terrell ... A nice collection of some Diana's great early 70s work for Motown, when she really stepped out and established herself as one of the finest soul singers of the decade. 10 tracks in all: "Touch Me In The Morning", "Love Hangover", "Last Time I Saw Him", "I ... LP, Vinyl record album
Motown, 1978. Near Mint-
What could they have been thinking? Motown sure must have had a lot of cash to throw around at this point – recording an album like this, which features soul versions of TV themes, most of them in the funky 70s mode. Arrangements are by Harold Johnson, Art Wright, and Kim Richmond – ... LP, Vinyl record album
