Barry Miles is riding the Sky Train – and at a pretty fast clip too, given the jamming energy of this record! The album's one of Miles' most full-on fusion sets – but it's also one of his most soulful as well, thanks to strong use of horns on most numbers – with players like Randy Brecker, Tom Harrell, and Jim Buffington really warming things up. Eric Kloss is in the core group alongside Miles keyboards – and his work on alto sax is a treasure – filled with feeling, even at a fast clip – and sweetly soulful on some of the mellower numbers too. - One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
- May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing.
