Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Lovely work from pianist Claude Williamson – a player we like so much more in his later years than we did when he first started out in the 50s! Williamson's really got a depth to his keyboard work here – a way of playing a wide range of sounds and colors, yet without ever showing off ... CD
With Jimmy Heath on tenor and Roland Hanna on piano – soloing in an ensemble led by Maurice Peress. Works include "New World A Comin", "Harlem", "Black Brown & Beige", and "Three Black Kings". CD
Warm, late nite work from the Eddie Higgins trio – that great 90s lineup that features Eddie on piano, Jay Leonhart on bass, and Joe Ascione on drums! It's hard to adequately get at the genius of these guys together in words – as their power is somewhat subtle, but damn effective ... CD
Spiritual work from the great Charles Moffett and his talented family – all of whom have matured nicely by the time of this recording! Gone is the sloppiness of some of the earlier Moffett Family albums, and in its place is a tight soulful groove – with a progressive soul jazz sound ... CD
Warm later work from guitarist Joe Beck – a sweet trio session that features George Mraz on bass and Billy Hart on drums! Beck's got a great sound on the record – a colorful tone that's quite fitting for the album's tribute to Frank Sinatra – certainly not the same sound as the ... CD
Ben LaMar Gay might well be one of the most creatively intense artists on the International Anthem label – and that's saying a lot, given all of the groundbreaking talents who've come to record for the company in recent years! And while Ben's previous record was completely mindblowing, this ... CD
Will Calhoun on drums, drum programming, flute, keyboards and bass, Orrin Evans on piano, Buster Williams and John Benitez on bass, Antoine Roney on soprano saxophone, Pharoah Sanders on tenor saxophone, and Wallace Roney on trumpet. CD
