Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Very compelling work by this French producer – featuring a subtle set of tracks that mixes moody jazz with abstract modern rhythms – in a style that sort of feels like an update on the Blue Note "new thing" sound laid down by artists like Bobby Hutcherson, Andrew Hill, and ... CD
One of the best funk records to ever come out of England! Corduroy later devolved into a rock-ish kind of group – but on this debut album, they were a tight funky combo, with an organ and clavinet mod sound that still holds up damn well over the years. Their songwriting is great, and the ... CD
A stunning full length set from Reel People – soulful club with vocals by a variety of wonderful singers that include Angela Johnson, Vanessa Freeman, Dyanna Fearon, Sharlene Hector, and Jag! The set really lives up to the promise of Reel People's work on singles over the years – ... CD
A contemporary riff on benchmark 70s soul jazz and funky fusion from French producer Medline – who reimagines classics by Roy Ayers, Lonnie Liston Smith, Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard and others! It's good, solid stuff – reinterpreting the material in a way that's very mindful of its ... CD
A great set of spacey jazzy grooves – and a rare album that was deleted immediately from the Acid Jazz catalog due to some copyright troubles! The album's quite different than a lot of the other ones on the Acid Jazz label – with a spacey soul sound that's a sweet blend of classic 70s ... CD
A blistering collection of work from Seiji – remixes of tunes by other artists, pulled from an assortment of import singles and unreleased recordings, laid out back to back on one set! Seiji's work is some of the foremost in the current London scene – very scattered, broken, and ... CD
Kind of a "greatest hit" of greatest hits compilations – a set that's probably sold more copies than any of Barry White's full length albums – thanks to a monstrous run of hits in the 70s! The package is overflowing with greatness – amazing tunes that balance funky ... CD
