If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Amazing – and after a decade it's still probably one of our favorite Ubiquity releases to date! To the unitiated, Rhode Trip is a killer album of jazzy funk by one of the best west coast groups on Ubiquity or any other label! They had some of the best cuts on the classic "Cookin'" ... CD
If drums were enough to make us love a record, we'd love this one to death – but it's also got a heck of a lot more to offer! Quantic Soul Orchestra return with a smashing second set – one that's even tighter and funkier than the first one – with a sound that really bridges both ... CD
A (completely) terrific and (totally) powerful jazz funk trio set from Galactic drummer Stanton Moore – even if we don't know why all the tunes have parenthesis! There's no question that the set is emphatic – with Moore just killing it on the kit – backed just as dexterously ... CD
Brooklyn funky soul combo Pimps Of Joytime – whose eclectic grooves roll in and out of Latin stoked grooves, laidback and feverish funk, and hip hop – a few new original numbers plus some remixes by DJ Vadim, Chico Mann, Nickodemus, Chico Mann and SUMO! Titles include "Bonita" ... CD
Amazing work from Triorganico – an acoustic trio with deep respect for Brazilian grooves from years past – stepping out here as one of the most striking projects we've ever heard from the Stones Throw family of labels! There's a quality here that takes us right back to some of our ... CD
Hard hitting funky 45 material – supposedly recorded by a "lost" funk group from the 70s, but actually the James Taylor Quartet playing under a different name! That little bit of name trickery doesn't stop the album from being a nice batch of funky jazz tracks, though – with ... CD
The eponymous full length from Nashville psyche funk trio Magic In Threes! There's something of a sound library style to the set – but the trio format gives their take on that groove in a bit of a tighter, more reigned in take on the groove. That's not to say it's not a diverse tapestry of ... CD
A great German combo, and one with almost as much jazz as funk in the mix – quite a nice change from the usual group of this nature! There's a warm glow to the record right from the start – a vibe that comes from the tight trumpet lines of Michael Voss, who also sings a bit – and ... CD
Dope grooves that seem to have crept out of nowhere from the west coast underground! 8 tracks of instrumental hip hop, with a bit more pep than your typical hip hop record, and a lot more interesting twists and turns than your typical promo instrumental version of your favorite MC's album. Like ... CD
Another chapter in the enigmatic legacy of Clutchy Hopkins – and one that's as beautifully beat-heavy as the rest! This set's got a very laidback feel – almost more jazzy than the rest, with a warm vibe that really fits the record's placement on the mostly-jazz Porter Records label ... CD
