I Like It Like Dat!

LP (Item 505543) ABC, 1965 — Condition: Very Good+
(Mono pressing. Cover has a cutout hole, light wear, and aging.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Let Me In Your Life
LMI, 1972. Near Mint-

Della Reese gets a Latin twist – and result is one of her grooviest albums from the early days! Della Reese Live
ABC, 1966. Very Good+
One of Della Reese's greatest records – and a unique little session cut "live in the studio" before a very appreciative crowd! Glory Of Love
ABC, 1956. Near Mint-
One of our favorite albums by the team of Jackie & Roy – a really special little set that features small combo backing, great tunes, and some of the best vocals of their early career! Free & Easy
ABC, 1957. Very Good+
One of the grooviest records ever by the wonderful vocal team of Jackie & Roy – a sweetly swinging 50s session, with great LA jazz backings from the orchestra of Bill Holman! Chris Connor Now
ABC, 1967. Very Good+
A very groovy mid 60s set from Chris Connor – quite different than her famous 50s sides for Bethlehem, thanks to some hip arrangements by Don Costa! ABC, 1958. Very Good
A groovy little vocal group with a swinging 50s sound – working here with some great jazzy arrangements from trombonist Kai Winding! The style of the set prefaces Winding's pop/jazz sides for Verve in the mid 60s – but has a sound that's somewhat similar – with lead vocals by the ... LP, Vinyl record album
