❔

With their classic "Green Eyed Lady", plus "Bach Doors Man", "Chest Fever", "Things Gonna Change Soon", and "Train Kept A Rollin".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(In original shrinkwrap with a hype sticker.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Jackie De Shannon
Liberty, 1963. Very Good+
The first full length set from Jackie De Shannon – and a set that's got a lot more folksy touches than some of her previous singles! Lodger
RCA, 1979. Very Good-
The brilliant consummation of Bowie's late 70s years in Berlin – a record that showed he could take the experiments in sound he was crafting with Brian Eno, and turn them back into the kind of creepily catchy rock tunes that first made him a legend! RCA, 1977. Near Mint-
One of the three great collaborations between David Bowie and Brian Eno – and possibly the ultimate statement from his years in Berlin! Santana (1969)
Columbia, 1969. Very Good-
A crossover Latin Funk classic – with the kind of soaring guitar/organ grooves that were the brilliant sound of the 70s for the West Coast scene, a whole new way of playing Latin Soul that blew away the New York sound of the late 70s.
