If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Much as we like Michael Henderson, we almost want to hate him for the cover of this one – which features him in a skin-tight Speedo – but the record is just too damn good! The music is fantastic – and is sort of an update of the earlier east coast smooth soul sound, with lots of ... CD
This beautiful LP was released by Stax in the early 70s, but somehow got lost in the shuffle between all the Isaac Hayes LPs. Brilliantly funky! This is the greatest album they cut for Warner Brothers – and it's one of the few that ever really approaches the genius of their early work for Josie. The record features the incredible breakbeat cut "Just Kissed My Baby" – worth the price of the album ... CD
A windy city hero – the amazing Garland Green, a singer who makes us mighty proud we hail from Chicago! Garland's got an incredible style that few others can touch – partly schooled in the 60s iceman modes of Jerry Butler and Walter Jackson, with all the sophistication that might imply ... CD
18 tracks that sum up the genius of the Isley Brothers on Motown! By the time of the late 60s, when most of these sides were recorded, the group had already gained great fame as a strong R&B power trio – but it was their meeting with Motown that gave the Isleys the more soul-infused ... CD
Jr. Walker's deep soulful tenor graced many a Motown hit back in the 60s – including the 11 featured on this tasty "best of" compilation. Includes the huge hit "Shotgun", plus "Road Runner", "How Sweet It Is", "Pucker Up Buttercup", "Come ... CD
