If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.
A longtime coming effort from Wu Tang trained MC Killah Priest! Titles include "Salvation", "Gun For Gun" feat Nas, "How Many", "Uprising", "Priesthood", "Ghetto Jezus", "Truth B Told", "Ostrus Eyes", "Happy" ... CD
Once again the GZA shines as the true Genius of the Wu Tang Clan. He continues to move in a more straight ahead rhyme direction, but there's still some nice metaphorical, numerological and knowledge dropping moments sprinkled in between the all-up-in-your-face Wu attitude alongside his acronym ... A landmark effort from the Legendary Roots Crew – one that a lot of folks hail as their greatest album – and there's a strong case to be made for that! Jazzy soul backdrops and lyrics that both personally and culturally reflective – and it's also the best produced Roots album to ... CD
Shadow's more or less stayed away from remixes, both of other people's stuff and of his own work, but he drops a rare reworking of the next installment in his fascination with number songs on this single with guest vocals by Mos Def, which we might have called a slightly odd combination before we ... Classic 6-song ep reminding us just how dope Ice Cube was in his heyday. About half the tracks feature classic Bomb Squad production, incing "Jackin' For Beats", the original, and still the best, track about stealing other MC's samples (featuring samples from LL, PE, EPMD, and more). ... CD
The loopy West Coast classic! Heavily steeped in the P-Funk party vibe, Del's first LP is still a hip hop holy grail. Even if Ice Cube's production is a little too L.A. '89, Del's style was and still is inimitable – and "Mistadobolina" and "Ahonetwo, Ahonetwo" are every ... CD
Debut from the Native Tongue affiliates. Beats by Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Mr Man, Salaam Remi and others. 13 tracks in all, including "Pon De Attack", "Put It Down", "Original","Ruff N Rugged", "Just Can't Stand It", "Da Ignorant No It All" ... CD
To us Jaz, now known as Big Jaz, always had lyrical skills, but we didn't always get open on the production of his tracks. Still there's a few nice pieces of late 80s major label hip hop on here, and a few cuts feature guest vocals by a young Jay Z, who's featured in a small photo on the back of ... CD
