If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A record that's not only a landmark in Jamaican music – but also a set that was to reggae what Curtis Mayfield's Superfly was to 70s soul! In other words, the set not only raised the bar for all the competition, it also ended up in a lot more record collections than most of them too – ... CD
Aptly titled collection of many of Winston Rodney's finest moments from the mid 70s. Collected from the Marcus Garvey, Man In The Hills, Dry & Heavy, Live and Social Living sets, you know these are some mighty, mighty roots tracks. 11 tracks, all essential : "Marcus Garvey", "D ... CD
While we're not big on career retrospective best of's, especially artists like Marley, whose been collected over & over, this is actually a respectable set, and the vinyl's pretty darn hard to get ahold of anymore. Includes 14 classics, like "Get Up Stand Up", "Exodus", ... CD
While he was no stranger to slackness, Capleton cut a number of more righteous ragga tracks as well. Some of the best are featured here: "Alms House", "Prophet", "Wings Of The Morning", "Tour", and "Steep Mountain". CD
An excellent batch of dancehall and lover's rock on Isaac's own African Museum imprint, with help from the Roots Radics. 8 tracks in all: "Good Morning", "Private Secretary", "Yes I Do", 'Sheila", "Out Deh", "Star", "Dieting" and ... CD
An album that definitely earns its title – as it marks the renewed strength of the Studio One label in the late 70s – an era when much of the reggae mainstream had moved to the major labels, but the tiny Jamaican indie was well-poised to stand supreme in the new wave of dancehall sides ... CD
