❔

Righteous earth mama vibes from our hometown sweetheart Bonnie Koloc. Bonnie was part of the original folk cabaret scene around old town here in Chicago, and this is her first album, with her gutsy, folky vocals and songwriting underpinned by a groovy rock-inflected backing band, that features Phil Upchurch on bass! Titles include "Don't Leave Me", "After All This Time", "new York City Blues", "Devil's Nine Questions", "Another new Morn", "Rainy Day Lady", "Jazz Man", "Victoria's Morning", "Got To Get What You Can", and "One Sure Thing".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Quadraphonic pressing.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A set with a disco ball on the cover, but a record that fits right in with the best early 20th century aesthetic in the work of John Fahey – particularly his way of reiimagining older musical traditions! Janus, 1972. Very Good- Gatefold
Messed-up funky guitar from Harvey Mandel – with lots of freewheeling fuzzed-out tracks, in the manner of his best classic work! In a way, Harvey's later albums are even better than his first few, as he's getting a lot tighter on the strings – which means that he can pick up the groove ... LP, Vinyl record album
