An augmented reissue of the classic Revelation Time LP, by this roots singer who got his start singing lover's tunes and novelty cuts for the sound systems. By the time he'd begun recording the tracks that were to make up this recording though, he had become fully ensconced in Socialist ideology and the Rasta faith, so you can imagine this is not too far from Burning Spear's Social Living, at least in it's lyrical content. Though he'd also worked with the great Bunny Lee, many of the tracks here were done with Lee Perry with whom Max would go on to later collaborate on further classics, like the War Inna Babylon set. A number of the tracks here had been cut as sides for the Upsetter label, and have that skanking, funky reggae the Upsetters were famous for as the rhythm tracks. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
