The tracks on the set represent a host of sessions cut in the years 1958 and 1959 – featuring Feldman on vibes and piano – working with a great array of players that includes west coast jazzers like Conte Candoli on trumpet, Frank Rosolino on trombone, Walter Benton on tenor, and Scott LaFaro on bass – as well as percussionists Willie Bobo, Mongo Santamaria, Armando Peraza, and Ramon Rivera.
