A wonderfully well-rounded set from Lil Louis – one of the few early Chicago house artists with enough imagination to break into a wider soul audience and still hold their ears over the course of a full LP! The record's a strongly-crafted batch of tunes that mixes mellow ballads with more house-heavy numbers – all with the sort of organic shifts that Louis virtually pioneered at the time – a move away from simple dancefloor beats into a broader symphony of soul mode that almost evokes earlier maestros of the 70s. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
