Biggie's masterpiece! There's very little we could possibly say about this east coast landmark that isn't already etched in stone in the annals of hip hop history. Biggie's a master storyteller, whether he's spinning tales of violent street nihilism, his skills beneath the sheets, or blistering sadness and regret. This thing sounds as great in the new millennium as it did at the end of the previous one. All the classics: "Things Have Changed", "Gimme The Loot", "Machine Gun Funk", "Ready To Die", "Warning", "The What" featuring Method Man, "Ready To Die", "Juicy", "Big Poppa", "Respect", "Friend Of Mine", and the Premier-produced "Unbelievable". This is the original version of the CD with the baby on the cover and 17 tracks in all.  © 1996-2022, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Mid-90s pressing weith a punch through the barcode and a small sticker on the cover.)

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs. This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

The mid 90s instant classic! Moment Of Truth
Noo Trybe, 1998. Used
A later effort from Gang Starr that's just as dope as their earlier classics! By the late 90s, a lot of their of Gang Starr's peers of similar vintage were starting to fall off creatively and commercially – hence the title – but Guru and Premier would have none of that. Guru's rhymes ... CD

Full Circle
Hiero Imperium, 2003. Used
Del, Souls Of Mischief, Casual and Pep Love return for a damn fine new full length. As if you need us to tell you, the Hieros are one of Cali's longest running crews – and Full Circle is, for the most part, a pretty laidback affair. Pep Love really seems to kind of stand out as the leader ... CD

One of the goofiest Christmas albums you'll ever hear! Spike cut this one with his City Slickers in the mid 50s – and it's kind of got the feel of a TV show gone crazy. Many of the songs start out in a sweet mode – often with vocals by a female singer or kids – but then a lot of ... CD
