One of the most unique sessions ever cut for Blue Note – an album of very rootsy Afro-Cuban jamming, led by percussionist Sabu Martinez – and a date that's even rawer and less jazz-based than some of the other percussion-heavy records for the label! The music on the album's comprised mostly of percussion – plus some occasional guitar, bass, and vocals shouted by Sabu – from group members who include Arsenio Rodriguez, Ray Romero, and Willie Capo. The whole thing's incredibly haunting – and about as different from the average Blue Note hardbop set as you could get – and even more earthy than othe more standard Latin records of the time – which is why this set has become legendary over the years! All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
