Ms Hill's notorious double album follow up to the Miseducation Of. . . album – a pretty nice set of unvarnished, intimate performances that would have gone done a lot smoother in an earlier era! After the whirlwind success of her first solo album, Lauryn, either a) decided that the peak of the mainstream glittering pop palace is better left to people like Gwen Stefani, or b) went off the deep end into a world of inflated self-righteousness and Bono-esque ego, depending on who's sizing her work up. Who cares. The bottom line is that Unplugged 2.0 is really a pretty decent left turn that wouldn't have been such a puzzling choice back in the 70s era, when major label artists might put out 4 albums a year, and took chances here and there. As the entire output of such a revered artist for the entire half of a decade, it's a disappointment, but a perfectly listenable one. 22 tracks on 2CDs (including interludes): "Mr. Intentional", "Adam Lives In Theory", "I Find It Hard To Say (Rebel)", "Just Like Water", "Mystery Of Iniquity", "I Remember", "So Much Things To Say", "The Conquering Lion" and more.  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs. This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.

When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.

All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

Columbia, 1996. Used

And Now The Legacy Begins
4th & Broadway, 1990. Used
The standout LP from The Dream Warriors – a quirky hip hop group who first sprung onto the scene in the wake of De La Soul and Tribe Called Quest. The duo were Canadian, and had a style that was a bit more open-ended than others – with room for odd samples and a keen sense of humor. ... CD
