This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A seminal set in helping shape the sound of Neo Soul for the 21st Century – the solo debut of Amel Larreiux, recorded after an initial rise to fame in Groove Theory! The set's got a simple, yet seductive groove – a mix of spare beats and keyboards that really gives Amel's sweet vocals ... CD
Brilliant work by Omar – his 3rd album, supposedly a real break-out effort, but a record that disappeared almost immediately, thanks to poor handling by the label! The record's an excellent batch of instant-classic soul tracks – done with a modern production twist, but still very much ... CD
Classic-styled soul from Musiq Soulchild – his debut set for Def Soul, and the start of a great run of mellow grooves! As you might guess from the compressed wording of the title, the tunes here have a great set of flow – a laidback, kicked-back sort of sound that's not nearly as full-o ... CD
One of the most soulful albums by this tasty Japanese combo! Most of the tracks on the record have a strong uptempo groove, with strident soulful female vocals – very much in the manner of those you'd hear on a Monday Michiru record. The album's only got 6 tracks – but they're all ... CD
A really righteous batch of tunes from Lizz Wright – in a set that may well be her most soulful to date! The material here comes from a host of different sources – some original tunes, spiritual tracks, some Angelique Kidjo songs, a few rockers, and even the great title cut – ... CD
A beautiful debut from Ruth Koleva – a singer with roots in Bulgaria, but an ability to sing in a really universal style – a crisp take on 21st Century soul music that's bound to make her a real up-and-comer in the global soul underground! The album's got a perfect groove from start to ... CD
The first album by Kelli Sae – an extremely soulful singer who you probably know best for her work with Incognito! The CD's a repackaged version of Kelli's first album – with better mastering, and a tighter package overall – one that makes for an excellent bit of indie soul, and ... CD
A lost treasure from Lester Young – previously unreleased live material from the 50s, recorded in a style that's a fair bit different than some of his studio work of the decade! The set took place at the Patio Lounge in Washington, DC – and was recorded by Bill Potts, who is also the ... CD
A New Chapter, indeed! New Chapter In Dub is one of Aswad's definitely one of his best records of the early 80s – and it's actually right up there with some of his best work, period. The title is an apt one, as it leads the way for modern dub – serving as a blueprint of what would ... CD
